So, let's be real... if you're reading my blog posts, more than likely you're a friend or better yet, a family member. I'm a firm believer that friends ought to help each other out, right? Well friends, let me recommend this cookbook to you that I came across on one of our library visits a few weeks ago. 100 Days of Real Food: fast and fabulous I've read Lisa Leake's blog and her journey to cut out processed foods from her family's diet and have even used several of her recipes. (Her 5-minute brownies are the only brownies that I ever make now. They are delicious!) But friends, this cookbook is incredible! I have made so many of these recipes over the last few weeks and my family has loved them. They are full of flavor, are healthy and don't have 8 million ingredients required like some cookbooks. This cookbook makes for good reading too. That might sound strange, but the first 50 pages are stocked full of topics such as, Supermarket Staples and Secrets, Real Food Defined, Grocery Store Illusions, Meal Plans and more. I highly recommend it. I'm off to sample the lastest recipe that I've made from this cookbook: Sausage and Lentil Stew with homemade cream biscuits....yes, please!
